Didn't expect this take on the subject, but it truly resonates. It's exactly like pushing through a tough Pilates flow and suddenly feeling that new strength. Such a brilliant insight!

The framing of Steinmetz as someone who didn't correct assumptions but instead built somethign undeniable is a useful lens. A lot of energy gets wasted trying to change perception instead of just doing the work. I hadn't fully appreciated how much his condition probably sharpened his focus, like being overlooked early forces you to develop different skills. The shift from seeing hardship as justfuel instead of a limit feels like the real pivot point. Its not about ignoring difficulty but about choosing whatit becomes in your hands. Solid piece.
