Didn't expect this take on the subject, but it truly resonates. It's exactly like pushing through a tough Pilates flow and suddenly feeling that new strength. Such a brilliant insight!

The framing of Steinmetz as someone who didn't correct assumptions but instead built somethign undeniable is a useful lens. A lot of energy gets wasted trying to change perception instead of just doing the work. I hadn't fully appreciated how much his condition probably sharpened his focus, like being overlooked early forces you to develop different skills. The shift from seeing hardship as justfuel instead of a limit feels like the real pivot point. Its not about ignoring difficulty but about choosing whatit becomes in your hands. Solid piece.

Thank you for viewing my work and taking the time to comment. I am a new author on Substack, but I plan on always keeping this free to the public. Steinmetz was an inspiration that is lost to the modern audience, but I think it's time for physics to return to a similar paradigm that he held, which wasn't particle-based, but focused on current, compression, and the natural drive towards balance.
